Summary: Our IT team is growing, and we are seeking an IT Inventory Specialist to support our team. Responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing our IT Inventory and reporting.
General Responsibilities:
- The Inventory and Imaging Specialist is responsible for both technical, and administrative duties
- Inventorying and asset tagging of IT equipment
- Responding in person, via phone, or electronically to inquiries and requests for assistance, and creating, updating, and resolving Service Desk Tickets as needed
- Management of IT Logistics including Disposal activities
- Imaging and Initial Configuration of Devices
- Computer Component Maintenance through basic part replacement
- Ordering Cell Phones
- Assisting customers and staff with basic hardware and software challenges
- Dealing with Vendors for Warranty Support
- Cellphone plan optimization
- Assisting call-ins or live chat with technical difficulties
- Essential Job Functions
- 60% - Receive, Inventory, and asset tag IT equipment Prepares, stores and applies images for all models of computers in active inventory.
- 30% - Uses technical expertise & understanding of business needs to evaluate and resolve IT service desk tickets, meeting specific Service Level Agreements. Assists in maintaining the onsite storage facility.
- 10% - Device Management Projects such as Quarterly Inventory Reports, Warranty Management, etc.
- 10% - Prepares and maintains end-user documentation
- Key Skills required

- Understanding of IT Hardware
Required Education:
- High school diploma (Bachelor’s in related field preferred)
Required Experience:
- IT experience at least 1 years
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships
