Summary: The Project Coordinator position provides professionals an opportunity to assist Project Managers in a fast-paced, professional setting in the execution and delivery of projects while applying the knowledge and skills learned through education and experience in a business environment.
General Responsibilities:
- Schedule Project Meetings.
- Attending Project Meetings, taking project notes, preparing formal meeting summaries.
- Preparing Project Schedules
- Filing project documents.
- Manage task and deliverables list.
- Maintaining staff schedules.
- Bidding phase assistance, contract award, and construction contract administration.
- Preparing formal project letters and correspondence.
- Setting up Project Accounting workplans in business system
- Monitoring sub-consultants including reviewing contract and insurance certificates to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Accounts payable review and coding.
- Company credit card reconciliation.
- Special projects as requested by manager.
Required Education/Licenses:
- High School Education required.
Required Experience:
- 5 years of professional experience in Project Coordination.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of programs
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project scheduling software is a plus.
- AutoCAD experience is a plus.
- Survey field experience is a plus.
- Ability to work on several projects concurrently.
- Ability to efficiently utilize time in executing assigned tasks accurately, on schedule, and within budget.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel and management.
- Ability to work and thrive in a team environment and build strong relationships.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
