Summary: Senior drafter/technician performing non-routine and complex technical drafting support for assigned projects independently. This position works closely with design originator and Project Managers.
General Responsibilities:
· Performs non-routine and complex CAD drafting assignments from verbal instructions with minimal supervision
· Reviews completed construction drawings and cost estimates for accuracy and conformity to standards and regulations
· Assembles documentation packages and produces drawing sets which are checked by engineer
· Other assigned duties as required
Required Education/Licenses:
· Minimum of high school or technical school training with courses in computer-aided drafting or equivalent experience
Required Experience:
· 5 years’ experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D
· Technical knowledge of CAD operations and engineering specialty discipline
· Effective communication skills both oral and written
· Effective interpersonal skills with coworkers
· Ability to build strong relationships
· Must be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and/or on a daily basis as changes occur in project needs
