General Responsibilities:
- Perform Various Party Chief tasks efficiently such as construction level layout, construction asbuilts, field locations, field calculations, and field notes.
- Efficiently manage field crews and the job at hand.
- Knowledge of various field instruments and their use and the ability to learn to use other surveying tools effectively.
- Locates and identifies property corners
- Stakes and measures control points
- Prepares and maintains inventory of equipment and materials
Required Education/Licenses:
- HS Graduate or GED
Required Experience:
- 5 years extensive field and survey experience in boundary, topographic, and construction surveying and all tasks typical to SW Florida
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external clients
Physical Requirements:
- Occasional lifting/carrying a minimum of 25 lbs. and up to 50 lbs.
- Driving to and from various project sites.
Additional Skills/Certifications preferred but not required:
- Licenses or certificates relating to Surveying or Engineering
- Safety Training Classes
