The candidate will manage a variety of engineering tasks using programs and procedures of consulting engineering to FDOT criteria.
General Responsibilities:
- Responsible for design calculations, plan preparation, and schematic designs for FDOT and local government projects.
- Supervision of EITs or other similar entry level staff.
- Production of schematics and Plans, Specifications, and Estimates.
- Manage and maintain project schedules and financial requirements.
Required Education/Licenses:
- Bachelor of Science Degree, Civil Engineering is required.
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer.
Required Experience:
- 8 years of experience with Microstation (ORD) and FDOT procedures a must.
- Multiple levels of responsibility are available with PE preferred.
- Must be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and/or on a daily basis as changes occur in project needs.
- Proven experience in handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients and internal employees.
- Ability to build strong relationships.
