General Responsibilities:
- Party Chief gives direction for this position
- Transport and set up instruments and equipment associated with surveying land and preparing job site for survey
- Clear brush or trees away from survey line
- Lays out stakes to prepare for elevation measurements
- Holding prism pole steady for the surveyor to help determine elevations of different points
- Measures how far different points are from each other Horizontally
- Helps with various pieces of survey equipment
Required Education/Licenses:
- HS Graduate or GED
Required Experience:
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external clients
