We currently have an opening on the Survey team as an CAD.
Experienced CAD tech performing technical drafting support for assigned projects independently with working knowledge of engineering technology in a specific field.

Experienced CAD tech performing technical drafting support for assigned projects independently with working knowledge of engineering technology in a specific field.
General Responsibilities:
- Uses survey data for the creation of survey plats, Sketches, and exhibits
- Can write/check Metes & Bounds Descriptions
- Understanding technical survey requirements and specifications required by the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT)
- Help create TxDOT ROW Maps, Parcel Takings, Survey Control Data Sheets, Survey Control Index Sheets, Horizontal & Vertical Control Sheets
- Prepare topographic and contour maps of land surveyed, including site features and other relevant information such as charts, drawings, and survey notes
- Minimum of high school or technical school training with courses in computer-aided drafting or equivalent experience.
- 5-10 years of survey experience
- CADD experience is required (Civil 3D 2019 will be utilized)
- MicroStation experience is required
- Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Strong communication skills both oral and written
- Ability to work well in a team-focused environment
- Must be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and/or daily as changes occur in project needs
