Summary: We are looking for a civil engineering EIT with 3 years of experience to apply engineering design principals for residential land development infrastructure projects.

General Responsibilities:
- Lead design tasks in the production of project plans, specifications, and cost estimates for multiple projects
- Responsible for preparation of feasibility studies and developing quality designs of water, sanitary, storm sewer, paving, and detention facilities under the mentorship of senior staff
- Identify and analyze the principal design features and major design alternatives that satisfy the project’s purpose and need
- Use computer assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents
- Preparing a range of reports including technical and non-technical reports to communicate project information to team members, clients, and other stakeholders
- Mentor and direct production work of other engineers-in-training, designers, and technicians
- Attends design meetings and interacts with clients at his or her level of experience
- Independently performs engineering assignments with clear and specified objectives
- Work is reviewed for the application of sound professional judgement
- Coordinating with outside sub-consultants
- Perform field-based activities like coordination with construction services, inspections, and/or reviewing sites with client groups
- Bachelor of Science, in Civil Engineering is required.
- Certified Engineer-in-Training
- 3 years of post-graduate experience or master’s degree and 1-2 years of post-master’s experience.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office Suite
- Strong communication skills
- Understanding of local governmental public development codes and ordinances
