General Responsibilities:

• Perform Various Party Chief tasks efficiently such as construction level layout, construction asbuilts, field locations, field calculations, and field notes.
• Efficiently manage field crews and the job at hand.
• Knowledge of various field instruments and their use and the ability to learn to use other surveying tools effectively.
• Locates and identifies property corners
• Stakes and measures control points
• Prepares and maintains inventory of equipment and materials
  
  

Required Education/Licenses:

• HS Graduate or GED
  
  

Required Experience:

• 5 years extensive field and survey experience in boundary, topographic, and construction surveying and all tasks typical to SW Florida
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external clients
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Occasional lifting/carrying a minimum of 25 lbs. and up to 50 lbs.
• Driving to and from various project sites.
  
  

Additional Skills/Certifications preferred but not required:

• Licenses or certificates relating to Surveying or Engineering
• Safety Training Classes
