LJB offers challenging and rewarding assignments for Fall 2025 Co-op students in our Dayton, OH office. Students work with experienced engineers and are exposed to a variety of civil engineering challenges. They also get the opportunity to work on real world projects in a professional environment.
STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING CO-OP GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be an engineering major at an accredited university
- Must be entering their Junior or Senior year of college
- Some travel may be required
- U.S. citizenship required
STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING CO-OP JOB DUTIES:
- Work on job assignments related to area of engineering discipline focus
- Perform routine tasks under close supervision using well established standards, procedures and drawings
- Students will be exposed to design processes as well as various office and field procedures
STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING CO-OP PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to travel to various project sites
- Must be able to access and navigate job sites and construction areas
