We are currently looking to fill the role of Staff Accountant for our F&A team. This role supports the project setup, customer billing, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions.
Pay: $60,000 - 77,000
STAFF ACCOUNTANT ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Work closely with Project Managers to prepare customer invoices.
- Communicate with clients regarding unpaid invoices.
- Assist in vetting the creditworthiness of potential clients.
- Assist with recording journal entries and reconciling general ledger accounts in a timely manner.
- Assist with fixed asset accounting and record-keeping.
- Assist with year-end audit and tax requests and support internal audit functions.
- Support business needs including special projects, management reporting, and strategic analysis.
- Work collaboratively across functional departments and business segments.
- Support the creation of financial statements as needed.
- Help maintain and update our financial records, databases, and systems to ensure accurate reporting.
- Analyze company performance against industry benchmarks and provide insight into various trends within our business.
- Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process as needed.
- Help identify cost-saving opportunities by analyzing operational activity and practices.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests from management by preparing relevant financial information.
- Other duties as assigned.
STAFF ACCOUNTANT ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years accounting experience.
- Excellent organizational skills combined with strong attention to detail.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Excel as well as other Microsoft Office tools.
- Demonstrate professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player and possess excellent communication and customer service skills required
- Must be highly detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
