LJB Engineering is a national, multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm with multiple business lines including Transportation, Water Resources, Geospatial and Site Design, Buildings Structure Design and Safety / Fall Protection Design / Installation. Our diverse expertise, client base, and geographies have enabled LJB to serve clients in all 50 U.S. states and several countries.
We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Entry Level Roadway Engineering position in our Cleveland, OH office. The successful candidate will possess a can-do attitude, have a passion for and take pride in their work, be a creative thinker, and have a willingness to collaborate while having the ability to work independently.
Pay : $65,000 - $85,000 / year based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards.

ENTRY LEVEL ROADWAY ENGINEER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Perform roadway engineering design tasks for transportation projects from preliminary to final design.
- Provide engineering design services for traditional design-bid-build projects and design-build transportation projects.
- Utilize CAD software to prepare detailed engineering drawings and plans for roadway projects.
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including specifications and cost estimates, to facilitate the implementation of roadway projects.
- Work with senior engineers and other team members to ensure effective communication, coordination, and progress of roadway projects.
- Stay updated on relevant transportation engineering codes, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance with applicable guidelines.
