LJB Engineering is a national, multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm with multiple business lines including Transportation, Water Resources, Geospatial and Site Design, Buildings Structure Design and Safety / Fall Protection Design / Installation. Our diverse expertise, client base, and geographies have enabled LJB to serve clients in all 50 U.S. states and several countries.
We are currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill a full-time Mid-Level Civil Engineering Project Manager position in our Cleveland office. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience and possess the professional and interpersonal skills to make a positive impact on our firm and the clients we serve. The successful candidate will possess a can-do attitude, have a passion for and take pride in their work, be a creative thinker, and have a willingness to collaborate while having the ability to work independently.
Pay : $85,000 – 133,000 based upon experience, certifications, and regional market standards.

MID-LEVEL CIVIL ENGINEER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Design and manage all aspects of municipal and private engineering projects including :
- Proposal preparation
- Develop a proposed project fee
- Reports and studies
- Design and construction documents
- Manage subconsultants
- Scheduling, coordination, and budgeting
- Provide design and permitting of municipal and private engineering projects including but not limited to sanitary sewers, sanitary lift stations, storm sewers, stormwater design, site plans and minor roadway projects.
- Balance performing design work and business development efforts.
- Project / task and client management.
- Ability to develop new client relationships and maintain existing client relationships.
- Ability to work in a team setting collaboratively with a group of transportation, water resource and site / civil engineers.
- Ability to identify project issues and facilitate resolution.
- Able to adapt to quickly changing priorities and conditions.
- Ability to develop junior staff.
- Coordinate with subconsultants.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Provide professional sealed plan sets for clients.
