Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting/HR Specialist to manage the financial and human resource functions of our organization. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in accounting, payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws. The Accounting/HR Specialist will play a key role in ensuring the company's financial health and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Process payable and receivable invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements.
- Assist in tax preparation and compliance with financial regulations.
- Maintain general ledger and financial documentation.
- Manage overdue accounts and collection activities.
Human Resources Responsibilities:
- Administer payroll, including processing employee wages, taxes, and deductions.
- Manage employee records, benefits enrollment, and compliance with labor laws.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting and HR functions.
- Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks and Google sheets.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, payroll processing, tax regulations, and financial processes.
