The Account Manager (AM) at LKF Marketing provides high-level assistance to any Account Executive (AE) in the day-to-day management of accounts. The AM reports directly to the Client Services Director as well as the AE for each assigned client.

Primary Responsibilities (LMA)
· Manage day to day client needs
· Build collaborative team approach to client work
· Mentor account coordinator
· Meet billable hours target

· Start building a network (i.e., volunteer, committees, boards)
Other Duties
· Oversee the day-to-day activities of assigned clients, ensuring smooth project workflows by tracking tasks, production, and creative deadlines.
· Maintain strong, long-term relationships by proactively addressing client needs and providing updates on campaign progress.
· Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns that align with client goals, target audiences, and budgets.
· Collaborate with account, creative, and web teams to manage and execute client projects, including website development and updates.
· Assist in managing the work of junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
· Perform edits to client websites in various Content Management Systems (CMS), ensuring that all content is up-to-date, accurate, and aligned with client expectations.
· Proofread copy and artwork, ensuring all materials meet the client’s standards and pass the agency’s approval process.
· Prepare and present performance reports to clients, offering insights into campaign performance and adjustments.
· Assist with proposals, ad copy, brochure content, and other written materials as needed.
· Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing meeting agendas, handling client documentation, organizing files, maintaining correspondence, and processing paperwork related to client activities.
· Maintain awareness of client activities, industry trends, and competitor activities, and gather relevant background information and analyses to support the AE in decision-making and strategy development.
· Assist in managing client budgets and ensuring that campaigns are executed efficiently within financial constraints.
· Monitor project timelines and work closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure deadlines are met. Proactively address any potential issues and escalate them to the AE before they impact project progress.
· Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand client relationships, upsell services, or assist in proposal development.
· Maintain an average of six (6) billable hours per day (within three months of employment).
Education
Must have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relationship, or business or related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a marketing agency or an in-house marketing department.
Other qualifications include:
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Proven ability to meet deadlines, juggle multiple projects, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
· Expertise in using Microsoft Office software
· Superb grammar skills
· Project management experience
