Job Summary:
We are looking for experienced Construction Material Testing (CMT)Technicians with ACI certifications to support our growing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of concrete materials, testing procedures, and quality control measures. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Duties:
- Perform concrete testing according to industry standards and project specifications
- Conduct field and laboratory tests on fresh and hardened concrete samples
- Monitor and maintain quality control procedures throughout the construction process
- Document test results accurately and communicate findings to project stakeholders
- Assist in troubleshooting concrete-related issues and implementing corrective actions
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- ACI certification (e.g., Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I, Concrete Strength Testing Technician); NCDOT, or ICC certifications are preferred
- Previous experience in concrete testing or related field
- Familiarity with ASTM standards and testing methods
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
