Job Summary: The Lead Retail Sales Counter role will supervise the Inside Sales department in achieving sales goals and customer service levels. Oversees the overall coordination of in-house auto part sales (s)' activity to achieve the Company's objective of excellent customer service.
Essential Job Duties:
- Generates meet monthly sales goals.
- Coordinates and oversees the processing of orders, working with customers to minimize returns and damaged goods.
- Establish goals and objectives for the Inside Sales team.
- Interview, hire, and evaluate the performance of the Inside Sales team.
- Trains, coaches, and motivates inside the sales team.
- Analyzes or resolves customer service issues or assists Inside Sales Coordinators in resolving customer service issues.
- Establishes or adjusts work assignments to meet deadlines.
- May perform Inside Sales Coordinator duties to assist the team in meeting goals and maintaining customer service levels.
- May sell inventory on a wholesale level.
- Review activity and productivity reports.
- Assist customers with opportunities and maintain a professional environment. Help control the environment within the sales office by constantly reinforcing standards of being courteous, professional, and patient with anyone needing assistance.
- Regulate an even flow of tickets throughout the day to help decrease the turnaround time for customers.
- Promote awareness with additional product knowledge to the Inside Sales team.
- Develop more precise sales decisions to increase confidence levels.
- Initiate and support the continual improvement of the PYP Sales initiative. quality improvement system.
- Assumes other duties as assigned.
