What are the responsibilities and job description for the PBE Area Sales Manager position at LKQ?
Responsible for demonstrating Keystone’s paint products and systems to potential and existing customers to ensure that they fully understand each product. The ASM trains paint shop staff in the use of Keystone paint products to ensure that they remain committed customers and that they receive the maximum benefits of each product used. The ASM investigates and resolves all color and product complaints quickly and effectively to the customer’s satisfaction. Works directly with the PBE product line manager and location PBE sales team.
Essential Job Duties: 1. Demonstrates Keystone Paint Products to potential and existing customers. 2. Investigates and resolves product complaints. 3. Trains paint shop staff in the proper use of Keystone products. 4. Stays informed on Keystone products and competitive products in order to gain and maintain industry leadership. 5. Visits existing accounts on a regular basis to reinforce Keystone commitment to customer service. 6. Complies with Company dress code, maintaining a neat, clean and well groomed look; always behaves in a professional manner. 7. Handles related paperwork with the diligence required of providing excellent customer service.8. Assumes other duties as assigned.
Experience with sales, management, and PBE knowledge.
Strong communication skills - both written and oral.
Ability to manage and work in cooperation with others.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent knowledge of products, paint, chemical aspects, and refinishing.
Proficient ability in operation of Microsoft Office.
