About the Role :
We're seeking a Founding AI Solutions Engineer to join our team and help maintain our position at the forefront of production-quality LLM application development. In this role, you'll work closely with customers to build and deploy LLM / RAG / agent applications while translating real-world feedback into framework improvements.
Responsibilities :
Work closely with customers to design, build, and deploy custom LLM / RAG / agent applications
Identify common challenges in production LLM applications and develop solutions
Contribute to the improvement and expansion of our open-source framework based on real-world feedback
Collaborate with the core engineering team to implement new features and optimizations
Help develop best practices and documentation for production LLM application development
Represent LlamaIndex in customer interactions and potentially in the wider AI community
Qualifications :
Deep expertise with Python and related ecosystem (Pydantic, Poetry, FastAPI, etc.)
Passionate about applied AI and enjoy building practical solutions
Adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
Excellent communicator, able to work with both technical teams and customers
Hands-on experience building and deploying production-quality LLM, RAG, or agent applications for customers
Strong understanding of the challenges in production LLM application development
Ability to translate customer feedback into tangible framework improvements Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Completion of important AI projects
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience building with TypeScript
Significant contributions to top open-source AI / ML projects
Competitive programming or olympiad awards
