Event Coordinator | Llanerch Country Club – Havertown, PA
Llanerch Country Club is an 18-hole Member-Owned Private Country Club established in 1901. It is located just west of Philadelphia. Llanerch is a family club in the truest sense of the word and has full-service amenities such as a pool, tennis/pickle ball, golf, and dining. We pride ourselves on creating a fun environment for staff to interact with and provide exceptional service to our members.
Llanerch is seeking a friendly, outgoing professional candidate who has the ability to be an effective part of a team, communicate clearly, and provide outstanding customer service. This person would work with the Event Manager and Food and Beverage team to coordinate and plan events from start to finish.
This individual would be the liaison between the client and the Event Manager/Food and Beverage team. The ideal candidate must be an adaptable/flexible person that enjoys doing a variety of tasks.
Days and hours are not always consistent, but a typical work week would be Monday – Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM and some holidays and weekend events.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fielding calls and emails from members and potential customers
- Scheduling events and maintaining calendars
- Creating event details and communicating them to department heads and managers
- Developing quotes/invoices
- Maintaining digital records of all upcoming events
- Assisting Event Manager in daily duties
Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, College Degree preferred
- Hospitality education or experience is a plus
- Excellent with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook (Required)
- Strong oral and written communication
- Desire to learn new skill and take on responsibility
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to multi-task
- Attention to detail is a must
- Top-notch organization skills
- Must be reliable
Job Type: full-time
Compensation
$23-$26 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
Additional compensation in the form of gratuity, Holiday bonus and misc gratuities
