Duties

- Oversee daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow management, and inventory control.
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to assess repair needs and ensure quality control.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist with complex automotive diagnostics and repairs, including brake repair and other critical services.
- Engage in service writing by accurately documenting customer requests and repair recommendations.
- Implement upselling strategies to promote additional services that enhance vehicle performance and safety.
- Collaborate with customers to explain repair processes, provide estimates, and address any concerns or questions regarding their vehicles.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Manager or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repair processes.
