What are the responsibilities and job description for the ASME Code Fitter/Welder position at Lloyd Richards Personnel?
Sand Springs Area is in need of a ASME Code Welder/Fitter
6am-4:30 Monday-Friday with overtime on Saturday
Clamps, holds, tack welds, grinds, and bolts components to position for welding
Examine workpieces for defects and measure workpieces for straightedges or templates to ensure conformance
Measure dimensions
Develop templates and models for welding projects, using mathematical calculations based on blueprint information
Layout fits nozzles supports and couplings per blueprint into coil
Use grinders, hand files and scrapers to remove rough spots
Operate forklift and overhead crane
Read Blueprints
Strong mathematic skills
Ability to read level, tapes, protractors
Pass ASME Code Section 8 Welding test 2" schedule 160 carbon, 6G pipe test. GTAW (TIG) all the way out
FCAW (FLUX)
