JobSummary : The Human Resource Manager will lead and direct the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource department including recruitment andon-boarding, employee benefits, leave, workers compensationand will oversee employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management and ensure company policies and practices are followed. Essential Job Responsibilities :
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment processincluding interviewing and hiring of qualified job applicants. Collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competenciesrequiredforopen positions
- Executenew hire orientation process to ensure benefits, policies and proceduresarecommunicatedeffectively. Enter new employee data into computer system
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws governing Family Medical Leave Act, Americans Disabilities Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, Equal Employment Opportunity andotherlocal,stateand federal regulations
- Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction,engagementand retention
- Oversee employee disciplinary meetings,terminationsand investigations. Handle discipline and termination of employeesin accordance withcompany policy. Conduct exit interviews
- Develop andmaintainstrong working relationships with all levels of management
- Manage benefits administration to include enrollment, claims resolution, change reporting. Reconcile and processbenefitinvoices for payment
- Providetimelysupport, guidance and training to employees as needed
- Overseethe humanresourcemanagementsystem (ADP Workforce Now).Update employee data as needed.Create and run reportsas requested
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, andnew technologiesin human resources, talent management, and employment law
- Train and act as back-up for payroll and 401k processes
- Oversee annual open enrollment process including company-wide presentations
- Perform various Human Resources projects and tasks as needed or assigned
