Installation / Maintenance Engineer
Location : Buffalo, NY
Length : 12 months
55.00 to $60.00 an hour
Due to our constant growth, we are looking for a Installation / Maintenance Engineer to support our projects in Buffalo, NY. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and optimal performance of lyophilization equipment within our pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. Additionally, you will maintain and improve freezer dryer systems, ensure product quality and adherence to industry standards. This area of responsibility will also include other critical machinery / equipment and aid the department in the business continuity planning / lifecycle updates of facility and process equipment.
You will be responsible for
Corrective, preventive, and predictable maintenance services and troubleshooting assistance over life Science equipment.
Installation and commissioning of life science equipment (better if freeze drying)
Participate in preparing customer site for installation events, assembling machines.
Install, commission, and maintain the equipment and installations of Life Science and Biotech Equipment in our customers sites.
Perform troubleshooting and fault-finding services on site and by phone.
Conduct production supervisor and operator training at customer sites.
Establish and maintain a continuous positive relationship with customers including support and follow up on customers concerns and problems.
Execute timely reporting of all discovered technical issues according to company processes.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in electronic or electro-mechanical engineering - or equal experience in the field
1-2 years’ work experience in electro-mechanical maintenance
1-2 years’ experience in PLC, electrical and electronic system in general
Ability to repair machines onsite.
Experience with freeze drying filling or biotech / life science key process machinery is a big advantage.
