Organic Robotics Corporation / LLume is a Cornell University spin-off company in its fourth year of growth. Presently, it is commercializing Light Lace®, a patented fiber-optic sensor technology for motion capture, muscle activity, and respiration measurements. We are making products using Light Lace® under the brand name LLume (). Presently, we are laser focused on using this technology to provide cardiopulmonary insights to improve fitness; however, this technology platform has limitless application beyond this first product category.

Job Description
Job Title : Mechanical Engineer
Department : Hardware
Reports to : CTO
Summary :
As a Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for manufacturing Light Lace® sensors and wearables, building assemblies for quality assurance testing, automating the manufacturing process and designing and building enclosures for our electronics. You will be working on next generation wearables that capture motion, fatigue and vitals data. You will assist in iteration and prototyping and work alongside other team members to ensure the product requirements are met.
