JOB SUMMARY:
To maintain the desired level of customer service by maintaining proper finished good levels to meet customer delivery requirements, making best use of material, labor and equipment, while managing organizational constraints.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Receive and process all customer EDI transmissions for production, service, and passthrough orders.
• Monitor and manipulate daily MRP data in preparation for planning activities.
• Analyze daily (862) and weekly (830) releases to identify and make recommendations ensuring completeness while minimizing risk and monitoring capacity violations, and volume variance.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding capacity violations and identified release concerns.
• Monitor and present forecast performance, providing management with a clear interpretation of risk and opportunity.
• Prepare and process obsolescence claims in support of Finance and MP&L Planning Team.
• Analyze schedule closely during launch and pilot builds to ensure accuracy, working directly with the Senior Launch Specialist and MP&L Planning team to ensure a smooth seamless build/SOP.
• In conjunction with Materials Manager, make suggestions and set appropriate finished good levels by managing the Master Schedule.
• Ensure that Health, safety and Environmental standards are adhered to in accordance with the LM Charter and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Monitoring and answering customer problem reports and delivery scorecard for production, passthrough, service north America, and service Europe in Ford’s SUPERG.
• Responsible for identifying release errors and communicating part set up to the Senior Launch Specialist.
• Monitor Production and Launch calendars and distribute as necessary
• Monitor and coordinate buildout with Senior Launch Specialist and MP&L Planning Team
• Follow all guidelines in accordance with ISO-14001 & IATF requirements.
• Develop and manage the CBR process, including Directed supplier changes, timing etc.
• Reconcile FGI and root cause reconcile variances
• Resolve and process all shipping errors
• Prepare all passthrough and service shipments – pick, pack, and ship.
• Customer liaison for service and passthrough shipments
• Check daily for any customer non-conformances related to shipping and delivery. Prepare and submit disputes. Update KOIs & metrics. Manage root cause and correction action to closure for delivery and non-conformance issues.
• Check and respond to SNC daily for shortage tickets for service north America and Europe.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate Degree in Business or Supply Chain.
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of five (5) years of materials scheduling or planning experience in a manufacturing facility.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL ABILITIES:
Work performed in an office and manufacturing plant environments. Average mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer. Frequently exposed to varying temperature within plant depending upon external weather conditions. Frequently exposed to dust, odors, fumes and noise. Frequently walks, stands, grips/grasps, bends/stoops, crouches; and lifts and carries up to twenty-five (25) lbs. within the manufacturing plant environment.
