We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our team and oversee all procurement activities to ensure our hotel operates efficiently and cost-effectively.

Job Summary:

As a Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing all supplies required for hotel operations. You will work closely with vendors, department heads, and management to ensure the best quality products and services are obtained at the most competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for food & beverage and other hotel supplies.

• Source suppliers to secure favorable pricing and delivery schedules.

• Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors while identifying and evaluating new suppliers.

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of essential supplies.

• Collaborate with department heads to determine purchasing needs and budget requirements.

• Conduct cost analyses to identify savings opportunities and optimize purchasing decisions.

• Ensure all purchases comply with hotel standards, sustainability policies, and budget guidelines.

• Oversee the proper documentation and record-keeping of purchase orders, invoices, and supplier agreements.

• Stay updated on market trends, new products, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager, preferably in the hospitality industry.

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

• Excellent analytical and budgeting abilities.

• Knowledge of procurement software and inventory management systems.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with sustainability and cost-control initiatives in hospitality procurement.
