What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bar Server position at Lm Services Corporation?
Seeking energetic, interactive and personable Bar Server personnel to greet and serve guests in our bar and related areas that mainly require alcoholic beverage services. These individuals would be required to correctly input orders, assist with glassware and garnishes as needed and in a timely fashion and to serve guests in a hospitable manner.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
Serve guests promptly and according to service standards.
Correctly order from bartender; pre-ring guest check; assist as needed in set up; have guests check red-lined before leaving the bar.
Complete necessary set up and side work as per schedule.
Be knowledgeable of menu items, their garnishes, contents and preparation methods. Be prepared to answer any guest questions about the menu in a direct, concise way.
Be able to operate the point-of-sale register (when applicable).
Check food and beverage before serving it to guests to be sure appearance, temperature and portions are correct.
Be aware of daily specials and "86" items.
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions.
Suggestively sell food and beverages to guests.
Be alert to guest needs by staying on station as much as possible.
Practice Clean-As-You-Go policy.
Bus tables according to standard procedures.
Attend department meetings.
Any other duties as assigned by management.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities to be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
Knowledge of the appropriate table settings, service ware and all menu items and accompaniments.
Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items.
Basic knowledge of the English language sufficient to understand inquires from customers and communicates preparation methods, ability to comprehend written product labeling instructions to enable the safe application of products and processed within the property.
Ability to operate a keyboard to input Point of Sale procedures to pre-check, input order and close out the check.
Ability to operate beverage, toast equipment.
Ability to transport a maximum of 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
Ability to operate a cash register and demonstrate knowledge of cash handling procedures.
