What are the responsibilities and job description for the Revenue Analyst position at Lm Services Corporation?
Overview
Take reservations via the telephone, mailed correspondence, rooming lists, and in-house requests. Enter the reservations and additional requests into the computer and block rooms for all guests, including VIP and convention groups.
Duties
- Answer all incoming calls in a friendly and efficient manner. Provide guests with the requested information concerning the city, the property and its services. Obtain the necessary information from the guests and enter it into the reservation computer systems. Must be effective in sales and upselling.
- Build group blocks and control all group pickup and alert DORM if there are any concerns with pick up on blocks.
- Manage group distribution channels group POGS, Passkey, CVC, and any other group booking channel.
- Process all incoming reservations received via rooming lists, mailed or in-house correspondence, housing bureau forms, or facsimiles. Email confirmation and literature requests or reply via mail and administrative message when requested.
- Utilize various systems to assist in the preparation of the monthly forecast reports, monthly no-show analysis, and demand calendar.
- Assist revenue manager in preparation for weekly Revenue strategy meeting.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
- Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Ability to be persuasive with telephone sales skills.
- Must have proficient skill in Windows and Excel.
- General knowledge of city and its attractions.
