Staff Accountant I (12552-1)

We are seeking an Associate Accountant with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic and collaborative team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity within the insurance industry, ideal for candidates looking to grow their careers in accounting and auditing functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, payments, billing, and accounting reports.
• Analyze and maintain general ledger accounts and client records.
• Perform variance and trend analysis on key accounts, coordinate revenue and expense accruals, and ensure accurate monthly/quarterly close.
• Develop and document accounting policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, SOX, SSAE16, GAAP, and other regulations.

What We're Looking For

• An associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 1-3 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and strong analytical skills.
