Key responsibilities of a front desk position:
- Greeting visitors: Professionally welcoming guests upon arrival and directing them to the appropriate person or office.
- Answering phone calls: Managing incoming calls, taking messages, and transferring calls to relevant individuals.
- Calendar Management: Coordinating and confirming appointments for staff members.
- Administrative tasks: Handling mail, packages, and other administrative duties as needed.
- Maintaining reception area and conference rooms: Keeping the front desk area clean, organized, and well-stocked with supplies.
- Information provision: Answering general inquiries about the company, services, and directions.
- Client service: Providing a positive experience.
- Office Events: Assist with the planning and coordination of office events as directed.
- Managing Office Supplies and Equipment: Monitor supplies, order as necessary. Ensure machines are stocked and in working order.
- Maintaining additional office spaces: Keep breakroom and other spaces stocked and tidied. Order snacks and supplies as needed, stock on a regular basis, tidy as needed.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
