What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler position at LMC Industries?
The Material Handler position supplies raw material from the warehouse to the production floor area using a forklift.
Responsibilities:
- Using a material supply list, select proper raw material from the storage area and deliver it to the production area
- Read and follow instructions on work order and or work instructions
- Tends machines that mix materials (resin) used for production processes
- Loads materials into plastic injection molding machines
- Maintain an adequate supply of raw material on presses
- Clean out grinders and dryers and check for contamination before setting up next product that will be running
- Follows hazardous material handling and personal protective equipment requirements
- Follows instructions for tank operations
- Use of math skills to ensure all raw material is called for
- Prep areas for cleanliness
Requirements:
- Employee must maintain a valid forklift license
- Work overtime on weekends as required
Full-Time
3rd Shift: 11:30pm - 8:00am
1st shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm
