Job Title: Avionics Technician

We are seeking a skilled Avionics Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform avionics installations, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of aircraft including 737, 767, and Airbus models. Essential Job Functions:
- Component Installation & Replacement: Within budgeted or estimated time, install, remove, and replace avionics components. Perform simple checks and tests with appropriate supervision.
- Technical Documentation: Accurately interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, system schematics, and other technical documents from both the customer and ATS.
- Tool Utilization & Maintenance: Properly use and maintain avionics hand tools to perform repairs and installations.
- Work Documentation: Document work performed daily using the standard format as required by ATS and customer maintenance programs. Prepare routine reports and correspondence.
- Wire Bundling & Assembly: Fabricate wire bundles and assemblies based on drawings and standard practices, ensuring proper marking, securing, and termination of wires into contacts and connectors.
- Safety Compliance: Take immediate corrective action regarding any unsafe conditions to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ground Support Equipment Operation: Operate ground support equipment such as power carts and Hi-Reach as needed.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul).
- Experience on 737, 767, and/or Airbus aircraft.
- Airframe License and/or FCC License is desired.
Preferred Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical manuals and instructions.
- Proficient in using avionics hand tools and testing equipment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to document work accurately and efficiently.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $35.50 - $41.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
