Job Title: BSA Due Diligence Intern
Primary Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Employee Status: Part Time Hourly
Estimated Hours/Week: Twenty - Twenty Five, Starting May 2025
About this Position:
The BSA Due Diligence Intern will gain basic BSA knowledge while modifying internal records to reflect the beneficial ownership of LMCU’s legal entity members. This position will interact with personnel within the BSA/AML department as well as the commercial lending department and help create a path to ensure process accuracy and efficiency on a go forward basis

About this Position:

What you'll do:
- Use existing commercial loan platform to build accurate records of beneficial ownership and management for further ingestion into other databases.
- Review loan files for documentation of beneficial owners of commercial lending members.
- Use existing job aids to identify where additional documentation may be needed or required. Communicate in a professional manner with the commercial lending department if additional documentation is needed.
- Test other processes to ensure ingestion of data occurs accurately with the BSA Analyst team.
- Compare beneficial ownership documentation built in Silverlake with LMCU’s Core, Symitar, to determine whether additional records will need modifications.
- College student freshman, sophomore, junior, senior, or master level status, or a recent college graduate within the last 3 months.
- 3.0 GPA or greater.
- Major in Business or related field of study is preferred.
