About this Position:
The Indirect Loan Officer is responsible for assisting borrowers with indirect loan requests (such as MI Saves, Cunexus, LSI, etc.), providing clerical and administrative support needed to process and close borrower loans. Please note, this position does not fall within our Mortgage Department but rather our Lending Department.

About this Position:

What You'll Do:
- Monitor new application queues for new incoming loan applications for review and processing. Contact borrowers to confirm accurate information on loan application. Submit loans for underwriting. Follow up with borrowers to complete documents and closing.
- Contact borrowers to cross-sell credit insurance and any additional credit union offerings (5% minimum per month is required). Onboard borrowers as new members and explain LMCU and what we can offer.
- Answer incoming calls and direct calls from borrowers, contractors and indirect vendors.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Under one year of similar or preparatory experience.
- A high school degree or equivalent.
- Exceptional member service and phone skills are required.
- Ability to write professional communications is required.
- Knowledge of Symitar.
- Knowledge of the loan application process from start to finish.
