Job Summary :
The Staff Finance Analyst is responsible for a range of budgetary, fiscal preparation, review, and analyses in support of the Agency’s finance, planning, and analysis operations. This role involves performing a variety of technical and analytical functions in financial planning, budget development, variance analysis, and financial management. The Analyst will conduct financial, statistical, and analytical assessments, including financial modeling, revenue / cost forecasting, and risk / return analysis. They will also assist in preparing and reporting financial documents.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the Finance team, Agency Regional team, and management to evaluate and monitor project and region expenditures and reporting.
- Support financial analysis using both current and historical data to produce reports that explain cost and revenue patterns.
- Conduct fiscal feasibility analysis for new or proposed programs and projects.
- Research and assist in preparing analyses related to resource management, internal cost control, and fiscal planning.
- Aid Agency management in analyzing financial data, drawing conclusions, and providing actionable recommendations.
- Prepare and support budget and budget narratives for the Request for Proposal (RFP) process, in collaboration with the Finance team and management.
- Prepare project and region forecasts.
- Assist in designing systems for the automation of financial management reports and integrate them with the primary accounting / financial system as needed.
- Calculate, analyze, and review fiscal and budget items, including direct and indirect allocation line items.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support specific department / business needs.
