Overview
LMI is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) with management and technical expertise to facilitate the effective and efficient execution of Technical Project Management for a DoD S / 4 HANA Modernization effort for our client. The TPM will lead a team a staff that provides technical, administrative, and project management services to the DoD, provide leadership in the development of high-quality technical products for the customer, and provide pro-active communications regularly with management and customer regarding program status.
Applicants need to be located in the Northern VA area.
Responsibilities
Serves as the Government's point of contact in day-to-day operations for S / 4 Modernization task. Provides technical supervision and guidance for all contractor personnel assigned to the S / 4 HANA Modernization task. Leads the Project Support Contract team in providing best business practices. Responsible for overseeing all contractual responsibilities and delivery of all contract deliverables for S / 4 Modernization task. Ensures the efficient, effective, and economical level of contract support is provided to the government; provides oversight of staff and support activities; maintains contract costs; coordinates with the COR and as required by the PMO to fill vacancies with the most qualified; manage overall contract performance to include : providing subcontract management, overseeing invoicing, contract change proposals; and understands the needs and customer expectations to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manages the day-to-day operations of the S / 4 HANA Modernization task and interfaces with client management daily regarding program / project issues. Respond to internal and external substantive questions and inquiries on assigned tasks, projects, and business analysis.
- Develops and supervise all aspects of the S / 4 HANA Modernization task, contract deliverables, and on-site activities, including operational planning and execution, logistics, information systems, administrative, and staffing requirements where applicable.
- Prepares and delivers project status reports and communications to client management. Resolves project staffing and planning issues, manages company staff assigned to the project, and ensures continuity of support during Contractor personnel changes.
- Ensures projects are completed within applicable estimated time frames and budget constraints through coordination of project approach, methods, and staffing; resolves any issues with staff, tools, and methods.
- Reviews project deliverables and work products for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to client requirements / standards.
- Establish and maintain project controls and governance.
- Accountable for the management of tasks in accordance with contractual requirements and in alignment with metrics for customer satisfaction and program performance.
- Serve as a focal point for managing customer and partner relationships. Maintain communication and interact with individuals at all levels of the Government's professional staff.
- Identify and meet with key resources, subject matter experts, and advisors from within the DoD and contractor staff to establish and maintain network for information sharing.
- Ensures effective application of staff resources through selection, training, appraisal, and ongoing leadership.
- Encourages a participative approach to work, fostering cooperation, pride, dialogue, and trust. Creates a strong, high performing team environment. Shares or delegates power and authority with staff. Uses conflict management skills to ensure an effective workplace.
- Continually guides staff and reinforces desired behaviors. Provides feedback and develops employees to their next level of performance.

The salary range for this position is -$150,000-$200,000
