Responsibilities
- Support a team of event planners responsible for organizing events and conferences for national and international visitors to a U.S. government office.
- Organize meals, tours, programs, documents for distribution, audio-visual needs, transportation, translation services, and accommodations as required.
- Provide advice on, review, submit, and track requests for Official Representation Funds (ORF) in support of DoD events involving international visitors.
- Manage government gift locker for international visitors.
- Work in conjunction with a government contracting officer, government sponsors of events, and existing protocol offices to provide support.
- Support other team event planners in documenting best practices and practical guidance in an Event Planning guide for ongoing use by the government office.
Qualifications
Experience managing customer expectations and working directly with customers;
Knowledge of options within the Pentagon for catering, photography, and conference space.
