About the Position : Join a leading healthcare institution as the Ultrasound Department Manager. This role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring high-quality imaging, and supporting staff in providing advanced care to patients across Vermont and northern New York. Roles and Responsibilities : Manage daily operations and staffing for the Ultrasound Department. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for imaging quality and patient records. Perform clinical procedures and assist ultrasound educators. Support the Radiology Manager with budgeting and long-term planning. Provide off-hours phone support for departmental needs. Job Requirements : Graduate of an accredited Radiography program (Bachelor's preferred). Current ARDMS certification in Sonography. Minimum of 5 years of progressive sonography experience, including breast ultrasound. Experience with ACR inspections and accreditations. Experience with project or budget planning preferred. Experience working in a unionized environment is a plus. Nice to Have : Lead sonographer experience. Experience in a unionized environment. Project or budget planning experience.
