Position Summary
At Crazy Mountain Ranch, the Lead Fly Fishing/Cross-Country Guide is responsible for grooming, maintaining, and clearing all trails and executing guided trips on Rainbow Lake, Rock Creek and the Yellowstone River and all our Cross Country Ski Trails in the winter.
Job Duties
- Maintain, clear, and groom all Fly Fishing and Cross-Country Skiing Trails
- Plan and execute guided trips on Rock Creek, Rainbow Lake and the Yellowstone River
- Plan and execute guided trips on our cross country ski trails.
- Develop SOP for both activities
- Train and assure guides are delivering 5 star service
- Communicate with Manager of Outdoor Pursuits on a regular basis regarding equipment needs and guest supplies

Competencies
- Must be able row a drift boat
- Teaching skills in casting, rowing, fly tying
- Able to use hand and power tools.
- Must be able to shovel snow
- Must be available on weekends
- Must be able to work alone or with others.
- Must be able to work at night or as needed.
Qualifications
- 3 years’ experience guiding professionally
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
