We are about 40 miles away from Bozeman, Belgrade, and West Yellowstone, MT.
SUMMARY
The Comfort Station Attendant will prepare, maintain, and serve beverages from the beverage cart for members and guests on the golf course as well as maintain cleanliness in the comfort stations in a speedy, efficient, friendly, and professional manner while offering detail-oriented, personalized service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assure beverage cart is fully operational before starting rounds on the course
- Maintain a clean and tidy working area; clean the comfort stations and beverage cart throughout the day
- Maintain and exhibit knowledge of proper golf course etiquette
- Present a professional demeanor at all times, staying calm and collected while busy, and successfully multi-tasking to provide efficient service
- Accurately serve food and mix or open beverages for members and guests in a friendly and efficient manner while on the course
- Assure work area is stocked at all times and left at the end of the day as per the closing checklist
- Utilizes point of sales (POS) system to properly charge members, run end of the day reports, and submit the appropriate paperwork to management
- Provide friendly and attentive service to our members and guests, making them feel welcome, important, and relaxed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management team
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be minimum age, 18 years old, to serve alcohol according to Montana law
- Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, ordinances and regulations and Montage policy regarding serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated patrons
- Knowledge of safe food and beverage standard operating procedures
- Ability to operate all equipment related to the beverage cart and comfort stations
- Manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment (i.e. cutlery used to cut fruit)
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions; comprehend instructions given in English
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to take notes and ask questions
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to work outdoors for long periods of time, sometimes in inclement weather
- Must be dependable and available to work on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demands
- General knowledge of the game of golf and courses, preferred
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry, clubs/hotels/restaurants
- Ability to safely operate the beverage golf cart
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Most tasks are performed outdoors in variable weather conditions, including hot, cold, windy, and wet weather. Temperature can be extreme but is usually moderate. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, reach with arms and hands; bend and stoop; remain at post standing for extended periods of time; required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
