SUMMARY:
We are looking for a self-motivated Paralegal to join our small and growing in-house Legal team. You will provide a broad spectrum of legal services under the supervision of an attorney including, but not limited to the following areas: compliance, data security, employment, information technology, health services, intellectual property, pharmacy, privacy, real estate, and/or trademark. This is a generalist position with focuses on litigation management, contract management, entity management, legal research, and new unit expansion.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Draft and file legal documents
- Monitor deadlines
- Maintain research of healthcare laws, ensuring the company adheres to the most recent regulations according to state
- Assist Lawyer with Litigation Support
- Regulation of provider credentialing process
- Conduct research to support legal strategies
- Manage and organize case files
- Provide administrative support to the legal team and executive team
- Build and operate scalable systems for contract, litigation, and entity management
- 3 years of corporate paralegal experience preferred
- Certification or diploma required
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- In-depth understanding of healthcare law and regulations
- Proficient in legal document drafting and review
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently, while using time-management effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
