LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking an Athletic Trainer.
Location: South Burlington, VT
Job Description:
The Athletic Trainer (AT) provides services pre and post flight to prepare aircrew for the physical demands of flight as well as preventive maintenance to reduce the risk of injury. Routine services outside of pre and post flight work shall include soft tissue manipulation, joint manipulation, traction, corrective exercises and other techniques as required for injury prevention and pre-habilitation in accordance with AT education and practice standards. The AT will collaborate with the Strength and Conditioning Specialist (SCS) in a holistic and comprehensive effort to optimize fighter pilot performance.
Requirements:
- Must be a certified Athletic Trainer by the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and licensed in the state of Vermont.
- Demonstrated experience as an Athletic Trainer in collegiate/pro/Olympic sport or military setting.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Desired:
- Possess experience and certification in the field of strength and conditioning through the National Strength and Conditioning Association is strongly recommended.
Other:
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations, professional code of ethics, DoD guidance, and practice standards to ensure adherence within legal and professional parameters.
- Knowledge and skills in using quality and risk management programs to identify issues to improve practice and ensure compliance.
