Job Location: LMT ONSRUD - Waukegan, IL
Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 Hourly
Description
RESPONSIBILITES:
Preferred candidates will have some formal training and hands-on experience with CNC machines but we will train candidates that are mechanically inclined and are interested in pursuing a career in manufacturing.
DUTIES:
- Learn to setup and run CNC grinding machines (Anca, Walter, Saacke)
- Spend part of each day training and part of each day working/helping other operators run production
- Work under the instructor’s and supervisor’s guidance
- Regular goals and reviews: 30 days, 45 days, reviews according to assigned goals, 12 month
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
- High School Graduate or GED.
EXPERIENCE:
- Familiar with Microsoft Office is a plus.
SKILLS:
- Mathematic skills: basic addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Stand or walk 100% of the shift.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn quickly.
- Prior machining experience is a plus.
- Previous factory experience preferred.
- Attention to details.
- Team player.
- Reliable work history with good references.
- To be able to work 2nd or 3rd shift after training (if we are hiring for these shifts).
- Training in 1st shift for 6-12 months (Mon – Fri).
Salary : $18 - $20
