The Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) Program Admissions and Community Relations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and participating in the recruitment of prospective applicants and cultivating community relationships. The coordinator will advise prospective applicants for admission to the LMU-Knoxville OTD Program; coordinate, process, and maintain applicant files; and coordinate campus visits. The coordinator will manage aspects of the LMU-OTD student life experience, including large scale events and projects, student organizations and activities, student marketing and communications, and extracurricular budget management. The coordinator will also serve as social media and website administrator for the LMU-OTD program to build a social media presence.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma; *excellent verbal, written, organizational, and computer skills; *experience with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook);excellent organizational skills and very detail oriented; *excellent interpersonal skills.

assist in the search process for selecting OTD Program staff;

assist in training new staff members;

provide the Program Director with monthly updates on the status of applications received from prospective students through the Occupational Therapy Central Application System (OTCAS) and recruiting efforts;
Job Duty
attend and represent the OTD Program at undergraduate universities graduate and health professional fairs – travel will occasionally require evening and weekend hours and driving long distances that require overnight stays;
Job Duty
coordinate one-on-one visits to high schools and Pre-Health/Pre-OT student organizations at universities to generate prospective student interest and/or applications by presenting to small and/or large groups of prospective students;

perform other duties as assigned.
