Position Title Assistant/Associate Dean of Students, DCOM - Orange Park Department COLLEGE OF MEDICINE Position Category Staff Full Time Job Description
The Assistant/Associate Dean of Students is directly responsible for the delivery of services to support student learning and well-being at the DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (DCOM) Orange Park location for the DO program. The Dean of Students leads and manages a comprehensive suite of services that promote engagement and success for a diverse student population in a safe environment. The primary roles of the Dean of Students are to ensure academic success for all students, foster a sense of community among the faculty and students that promotes academic excellence and professionalism, and to identify and address both academic and non-academic issues that may negatively impact student performance and success.
Required Qualifications
Terminal degree in a relevant field; *experience in student services; and *previous academic and administrative experience
Preferred Qualifications
Previous academic and administrative experience with professional medical programs.
