The Simulation and Training Technician for DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (DCOM) at Lincoln Memorial University- (LMU) Knoxville is responsible for providing support, instruction and organization of the simulation lab.
Required Qualifications
Associates degree in health, information technology or related field, Excellent computer skills (see knowledge, skills and abilities above), prior administrative and/or customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters in in health, information technology or related field, EMT-P/RN/BSN nurse with > 3 years of experience, *recent experience as a nursing educator; *experience with any simulation software/systems as an educational tool or with hi- fidelity simulation manikins.

support the application and translation of patient clinical experience into scenario format for teaching purposes;

evaluate, manage and utilize simulation technologies;

operate the simulation manikins and instruct during scenario-based training sessions, open days and demonstrations;

participate in the development of new programs or projects and or entrepreneurial ventures;
Job Duty
organize and participate in community outreach programs;
Job Duty
work within State and Federal codes, statutes and regulations that govern Tennessee;
Job Duty
ensure adequate equipment and supplies for simulation activities;
Job Duty
inventory control, equipment and facility maintenance;
Job Duty
support, maintain and provide equipment utilized in AHA Training Center;
Job Duty
participate on university committees;
Job Duty
complete required institutional, program accreditation, and other reports necessary for the advancement of University programs, both on campus and at extended campus sites;
Job Duty
assist with scrub and gown training
Job Duty
perform other duties as assigned.
