We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable LPN or RN as Adjunct Instructor to join our academic team. This role involves teaching and mentoring students in a higher education environment, contributing to fostering an engaging clinical and classroom atmosphere. this position will manage LNA classes in the monadnock region.
Duties
- Deliver high-quality instruction in assigned courses related to nursing, LNA, and laboratory sciences.
- Deliver and implement effective curriculum and instructional materials that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and practical evaluations.
- Provide academic support and guidance to students, fostering their professional growth and understanding of course material.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the educational experience and maintain program standards.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum review processes.
Qualifications
- A degree in nursing LPN or RN is required.
- Previous teaching experience in higher education is highly desirable.
- Experience working with students in a classroom or clinical setting is essential.
- Strong knowledge of acute and long-term care practices and principles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Familiarity with curriculum development processes is an advantage.
