Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our LNA instructor team. The ideal candidate will teach the skills of essential nursing assistant care to patients in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and memory care units. This role requires a strong commitment to patient well-being and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and education to our students.
Educational duties:
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in their condition.
- Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of care provided.
- Implement aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in emergency situations, utilizing skills in emergency medicine when necessary.
- Participate in the development of individualized care plans for patients, particularly those with developmental disabilities or geriatric needs.
- Ensure compliance with all health regulations and standards of practice within the facility.
Requirements
- Valid LPN or RN license in the state of NH.
- Experience in geriatrics, home care, or assisted living is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to communicate effectively with adult students and healthcare professionals.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Must be able to speak French or Spanish fluently along with reading and writing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34.81 - $39.87 per hour
