What are the responsibilities and job description for the LNA instructor (Northern NH) - 430pm-930pm shift - Must be LPN position at LNA Health Careers?
An LNA Instructor will be responsible for preparing individuals for the NH LNA State Exam and for a career in healthcare.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Follow lesson plans and calendar as given – meet the hourly program requirements.
- Delivers course contents in a professional manner to include effectively communicating courses of study.
- Grades and records all student test scores on class attendance sheet in timely manner. Submits attendance sheets to student affairs at the end of each week.
- Monitor completion of Skills Checklist for each student and ensure accuracy.
- Prepare students for State Test with thorough instruction and adequate scenario practice.
- Communicate with representatives of facility regarding patient assignments and any changes made to scheduled calendar.
- Clinical training of LNAs including professionalism, respect, patient rights, infection control, safety, clinical skills, etc.
- Communicate any concerns with the Director immediately.
- Promote a professional and positive learning environment.
- Follow the disciplinary protocol of LNA Health Careers as per the Student Handbook.
- Complete all paperwork and submit to coordinator as required by the paperwork checklist.
- Maintains accurate and complete student attendance records.
- Attends all meetings as scheduled.
- Practice safety at all times.
- Be with students at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Evening shift - Tuesday and Thursday evenings 4:30-9:30pm
- Various Northern NH locations; Conway NH, Whitefield NH, Littleton NH, Lancaster NH, and more!
